2,5Merits:- The main characters are well done with their qualities and their defects.- The author's style is amusing (the first pages of the book are phenomenal).- Bobby :)Demerits:- The mystery is nothing to tell mom about. Cole sucks as a detective and should definitely find another hobby to entertain himself.- The police's incompetence is unrealistic and stifling. - Somethings of the story don't make sense. - All the talk about Asian families and their traditions seems a bit stereotypical: surely some are swayed but not everyone.
